Griggs Named NBS Financial's 2009 Finance Officer of the Year

Portland, Oregon (February 2, 2010) - Ken Griggs was honored as NBS Financial's Finance Officer of the Year at Norris, Beggs & Simpson Companies' annual Awards Banquet on Jan. 30. The Finance Officer of the Year award recognizes NBS Financial's top producer.

2009 marks the tenth year Griggs, who joined the company in 1993 and is a Partner, has received this recognition. He participated in 14 loans totaling $60 million in 2009; the projects spanned five states, and he hopes to one day complete projects in all 50 states. Griggs' largest transaction was securing $15.1 million in refinancing for Portland’s Wieden+Kennedy Building. He is active in a number of industry groups, including the State Farm and Woodmen of the World Advisory Councils, and received the 2009 Oregon Mortgage Lenders Association Distinguished Service Award.
