Background & Experience
Jeff Henderson joined Norris, Beggs & Simpson Financial Services in 2009. He brings a strong commercial real estate background to NBS Financial’s growing Seattle office, where he originates loans on all types of commercial properties around the Pacific Northwest.

Jeff was previously an Acquisitions Analyst/Assistant Due Diligence Manager at Harsch Investment Properties in Portland, where he played an integral role in the acquisition process of nearly $1 billion worth of retail, office and industrial opportunities along the West Coast. Jeff’s responsibilities included a thorough understanding of every aspect of a property, including financial analysis, leasing, property management, vendor contracts, CAM reconciliations, third party reports, CC&Rs, and code compliance. Jeff also was involved in closing transactions and presenting the property to new management.

The intensive analysis and due diligence process leading up to the acquisition of commercial property gave Jeff a comprehensive understanding of property acquisitions, and a solid foundation in commercial real estate fundamentals. Jeff has also served as a consultant to a number of commercial real estate organizations working on commercial development and asset management projects.

Industry involvement is a priority for Jeff, and in 2007 he was appointed Chairman of the Urban Land Institute Young Leaders Group of Oregon/Southwest Washington. He was also a board member and program chair of that group in previous years.

Education
Jeff graduated summa cum laude from Oregon State University with a bachelor’s degree in business administration with an emphasis in finance.
