Background & Experience
Blake Hering Jr. joined the Norris, Beggs & Simpson Finance Department in late 1999 as an Associate Vice President. He has since originated loans valued over $800 million during his tenure with the company. In 2005 alone, he closed $250 million in loans for apartments, retail, office and industrial properties. Blake became a partner in 2007.

Blake is a member of the Commercial Association of Realtors – Portland/Vancouver, National Mortgage Bankers Association, NAIOP and the Multnomah Athletic Club.

In 2005, he was the top Producer for State Farm Life Insurance Company, earned a Nationwide Life Insurance Company “On Your Side” Award and was named to Nationwide’s Correspondent Advisory Council.

Education
Blake earned a B.A. from Skidmore College in Saratoga Springs, New York.
