Background & Experience
Andrew joined Norris, Beggs & Simpson Financial Services in 2007 as a Financial Analyst and was promoted to Associate Finance Officer in 2008. He works closely with other members of the loan origination team to secure capital to satisfy our clients’ needs through exclusive relationships with life insurance companies, conduits, REITs and pension funds. Andrew facilitates the underwriting process on multi-million dollar loans for office, retail, industrial, and multi-family commercial real estate.

Andrew serves clients by analyzing financial data in all stages of the loan process. He is responsible for researching property and tenant history, and performing market analysis to assemble preliminary packages for lenders. He also underwrites, reviews, and analyzes potential commercial mortgage loans utilizing knowledge of the Seattle real estate market, valuation techniques, appraisals, and credit and financial analysis techniques. Andrew additionally tracks and maintains our DealsHelp program to further enhance underwriting and research for the Seattle Finance department.

Andrew furthers his education by attending a variety of industry events and meetings with lenders. In 2011, he was a recipient of NAIOP’s Developing Leaders Award, which honors up-and-coming professionals who have distinguished themselves and show great promise as future leaders in the commercial real estate industry. He was also honored with NBS’ 2011 Schulte Award, which recognizes an employee who displays the attributes of honesty and integrity and has made significant contributions to the company.

Education
Andrew earned a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with a focus in Finance and Marketing from Loyola Marymount University in Los Angeles.
