Background & Experience
Mick Stapleton joined Norris Beggs and Simpson Financial Services Group in 2006. Mick has both sales and real estate research experience, providing him with a healthy foundation for real estate financing. He will be working closely with our highly qualified loan origination staff in attaining the borrowing and investment needs of our clients, which include major life companies, conduits, REITs and pension funds.

Mick’s most recent position was with Orvis’s Chicago company store, where he was a commissioned sales associate for the country lifestyle clothing and equipment retailer. Mick’s real estate background comes from his work as a research assistant for a commercial real estate investment broker at the Denver branch of Marcus & Millichap. His duties at Marcus & Millichap included investigating property specifications of multi-tenant retail buildings for prospective property transactions, as well as analyzed property-specific information to adjust selling price based on several real estate factors such as location, vacancy, remaining leases and rents per square foot.

Education
Mick is a graduate of the University of Denver where he attained a BS in Business Administration in Finance/Real Estate with a minor in Economics. Mick has also studied abroad in Prague, Czech Republic at the Charles University. His focus there was Eastern European economics, art and architecture.
