Background & Experience

Heather joined Norris, Beggs & Simpson Companies in 2014 and transitioned into her role as Loan Administrator/Closer in 2015.  In her first year, she successfully closed over thirty real estate transactions with various lending sources funding over $200 million.  Heather responsibilities include assisting Lenders, Borrowers and Legal Counsel by coordinating all aspects of the closing process to ensure terms of the transaction are being met.  This consists of assembling and verifying closing documents, insurance policies, tenant documents, third party and title reports and coordinating loan document signing.  Heather focuses on making the closing experience effortless while building lasting relationships with Lenders, Borrowers, Legal Counsel, Vendors and Title/Escrow officers.  In addition to closing, she also assists Servicing by processing monthly mortgage payments and acting as backup for the Loan Servicing department.  Most recently, Heather helped organize and head the transfer of $500 million in loans into the Servicing portfolio as a result of the acquisition of Draper, Hergert, Shaw Inc.

Prior to NBS Financial, Heather was a valuable member of another division of Norris, Beggs & Simpson Companies, NBS Financial’ s parent company. Heather garnered tremendous experience within the commercial real estate industry as a Property Manager Assistant where she managed the daily needs of multiple Property Managers with their subsequent portfolios of office, industrial, retail and multifamily properties. While in this role, Heather also audited leases, insurance and vendor files for compliance and helped to developed service contracts, manage budget oversight and capital improvement projects.

Heather earned a Bachelor of Science in Sociology from the University of Oregon.
